Simple Broccoli Soup

Firstly can I just say- RIP to my camera. It lasted for 2 months. I can still take pictures but the screen is broken... So sorry for the crappier- than- normal pictures!

Now for happier times about soup.

We all love the simple pleasures in life.
Less fuss= less stress= happy people right?
Broccoli soup is definitely one of those pleasures! It takes like no time to prepare, and then BAM you have a delicious soup to fill you up!

MAKE ME! It cries.
I WANNA BE IN YOUR BELLY!
Yeah?
Ok then.

Ingredients:
1.5 heads of chopped broccoli OR a bag of frozen broccoli OR a mixture of the two.
1 large potato
1 large onion
5 cloves of finely chopped garlic
Dried, mixed herbs
2 tsp stock powder
1 tbsp olive oil

Method:
Chop up the potato and onion and fry in the oil till soft-ish. DON'T CHOP YOUR FINGER like I did :(. Boil a full kettle of water. Now add the broccoli to the mix and cover with boiled water. Add in the herbs and stock.  Leave to simmer for at least 30 mins (or an episode of the Simpsons- worth like I did :))

Now blend!

DON'T GET IT ALL OVER THE WALL!

Now: put a plaster on the chopped finger, clean the soup off the walls, take a crappy pic with your broken camera and EAT... and all the troubles disappear :)
